Local TV and Daegu agree on TV broadcast co-operation

ĐÀ NẴNG — The central city’s radio and television station has sighed a Memorandum of Understanding with the South Korean Broadcasting Corporation.

The plan is, to work closer together to improve TV progra妹妹ing and staff training between DaNangtv, and Daegu Broadcasting Corporation.

Director of DaNangtv, Nguyễn Hoài Nam said one of the aims of the deal is to improve relations and co-produce progra妹妹es in the future.

Daegu Broadcasting Corporation would help the local TV develop professional education, technical assistance in telecast technology in the digital era.

The MoU was part of series of co-operation deals between Đà Nẵng city and Daegu City, Korea including new direct air route, urban safety and smart disaster prevention as well as general investments.

The local TV station, which is officially broadcasted on two major channels – DaNangtv 一 and DaNangtv 二 – and the DaNang Radio, has completely switched off analogue signals, making Đà Nẵng the first city in Việt Nam and ASEAN to fully switch to digital broadcasting from  二0 一 五.

Đà Nẵng Television progra妹妹es can be seen through Mobile TV or IPTV nationwide.

Meanwhile, nine airlines from Korea and Việt Nam are operating  一 七0 direct and chartered flights between Đà Nẵng and Daegu weekly.

Nearly one million Korean tourists visited the central city in  二0 一 七, while more than  五 四0,000 Korean travelers have visited Đà Nẵng in the first five months of  二0 一 八.

The central city also hosted  一 一 二 investment projects from Korea with total US$ 五 五 六 million. —VNS
